The Research and Applied AI Summit (RAAIS) is a community for entrepreneurs and researchers who accelerate the science and applications of AI technology. In the run up to our 9th annual event on June 13th 2025 in London, we’re running a series of speaker profiles to shed more light on what you can expect to learn on the day!

At RAAIS we have a focus on translating cutting edge technology and research into amazing products for real-world problems.

Paige is the AI Developer Relations Engineering Lead at Google DeepMind.

Prior to returning to Google DeepMind, Paige spent just over a year at Microsoft as a director of machine learning and MLOps at GitHub, working on projects like GitHub Codespaces, VS Code, and Copilot.

As a former applied ML engineer (in Azure Research, Chevron, and on NASA projects), Paige can’t imagine a more exciting charter than accelerating developer productivity and creativity with machine learning.

Beyond her work in developer relations, Paige has been deeply involved in advancing AI research and tooling, focusing on scalable machine learning infrastructure, MLOps best practices, and democratizing access to cutting-edge AI models. She has contributed to open-source AI initiatives, including work on model interpretability, code generation models, and reinforcement learning applications.

At Google DeepMind, she collaborates with researchers and engineers to bridge the gap between foundational AI advancements and real-world implementation, ensuring that developers can leverage state-of-the-art models with efficiency and ease.
